The current extension source validates supported Business Central sales-document release and posting events. It is not a gate for every Business Central write path.

Commerce Gate for Dynamics 365 Business Central
Validate supported sales-document release and posting events against customer-defined margin and agent-spend policies. The Business Central extension and hosted service are separate parts of the intended offer.
The offer is being prepared. Package signing, clean-sandbox validation, and a successful Partner Center preview lifecycle remain release gates. This page does not indicate that an AppSource offer is approved or generally available.
Customer-defined controls
The central guard evaluates the submitted transaction against configured margin and agent-spend policies and returns ALLOW or BLOCK for that request.
Configured outage behavior
The company selects FAIL_OPEN or FAIL_CLOSED. The documented default is FAIL_OPEN; customers should verify the selected mode in their own environment.
Microsoft package release gates
- 1Build the current AL source and produce the trusted signed package.
- 2Install it in a clean Business Central sandbox and validate the supported release and posting paths.
- 3Run the full Partner Center preview subscription lifecycle and retain evidence.
- 4Confirm the production publisher, seller, offer ID, plans, and pricing before submission.
Commercial boundary
The candidate structure is a hosted Commerce Gate SaaS offer with a native Business Central extension. The live Partner Center offer, publisher, seller, plan IDs, prices, and entitlement relationship still need confirmation. Existing Teams approval and Dataverse offer paths are tracked separately until that review is complete.
