Dynamics 365 Business Central
App extension package and scenario mapping
Owner Group: Workflow + Platform Engineering
This Microsoft wedge is centered on finance collaboration: Teams is the review surface, Power Automate is the workflow rail, and Decionis is the policy gate before approvals, payments, and exception handling continue. This page tracks the adjacent extension work for Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Apps, and Finance and Operations apps.

The first Power Platform workload is now live: Power Automate flows can call Decionis at /v1/power-automate/policy-check and import the published connector spec to branch on execute, escalate, or ignore before execution. The flow passes business context; Decionis resolves workflow, policy version, objective profile, and enforcement mode from its Policy Decision Graph instead of letting Power Automate encode institutional policy. Webhook trigger subscriptions can now also resume flows when Decionis emits governance events such as finance routing status changes, override reviews, and exception-handling updates back into Teams.
